HIV POSITIVE SINGER APOLOGISES AT THE OPENING OF HER TRIAL

  Via BBC News A singer from German girl band No Angels has admitted to having unprotected sex with several partners without warning them she was HIV-positive. Nadja Benaissa, 28, was speaking at the opening of her trial in the German city of Darmstadt. “I am so sorry,” Ms Benaissa told the court. However, she denied deliberately infecting anyone. The 2009 European Music Awards took place last night (November 2009) in Berlin (Germany). And of course Beyonce was a big winner. The singer won three of the night’s biggest awards — Best Female, Best Song, (“Halo”) and Best Video, (Single Ladies: Put A Ring On It).
