Last night (November 12th) Jim Jones made his theatrical debut in the play The Hip Hop Monologues ‘Inside The Life And Mind Of Jim Jones’. The production also featured tracks from his forthcoming album ‘Pray For Reign’, which will drop early next year. Admittedly when I listened to the first couple of seconds of this track I hated it. But then when I heard Jim Jones’ voice my opinion changed. ‘Pop Champagne’ is a club banger and I love it. My Jim Jim also directed the video. This man is so talented. He is definitely the new Hype Williams, and before long will make the leap in to directing successful feature films. Jim Jones guest stars in an episode of the new TV drama ‘Crash’ with acting legend Dennis Hopper. I must say that Jim did a fantastic job of playing himself. Bravo! Bravo! Watch my baby holding his own opposite an acting great and looking ever so sexy while doing it. Your thoughts please…..

When I first heard this track today I thought hmmmmm, I like the production and I like the singing towards the end courtesy of new artist on the scene Kid Cudi, but Jim messed up badly.
