Several weeks ago Madonna caused uproar after she called her Caucasian son Rocco Ritchie a ‘nigga’ on her Instagram page (Click here to read all about it). The star was then later forced to apologise. Last night the 55 year old (who is old enough to know better) rocked up to The Grammys red carpet with a gold grill in her mouth and her adopted black son David Banda in tow. UK NEWS: POLICE SAY “SORRY” TO MOTHER WHO THEY WRONGLY ARRESTED AND ACCUSED OF ASSAULTING AN OFFICER
This is just sickening. Via The Evening Standard The Met has been forced to make an extraordinary public apology to a mother wrongly arrested and accused of assaulting an officer as bailiffs attempted to clamp her husband’s car. Detective sergeant Nick Westwood made the “humbling” apology to Alison Richardson in front of scores of her fellow churchgoers over the “upset and distress” caused when she was arrested in 2008. Mrs Richardson was taken into custody by as many as eight officers after […]
Several weeks ago I posted the news that 16 year old Pop singer Daisy Dares You had admitted to not being a fan of Grime music. Click here to read if you missed it. I originally spotted the story over at Digital Spy, and it caught my attention because young Daisy here had “allegedly” told BBC Newsbeat that she wasn’t a fan of the genre, but still collaborated with Chipmunk (who was once considered Grime… I’m not sure if he still is now) on her debut single Number One Enemy. It sounded as if she/the label had just used Chippy to guarantee a […]
As most of you will now know I posed a question to UK singing sensation Taio Cruz several weeks ago (which incidently still hasn’t been answered) (click here to read), and then received this statement several days ago (click here to read). And today I received a new statement…… It has come to our attention (via Google Alert) that an unknown individual has replied to your blog post claiming to be either Taio Cruz or a Rokstarr Music Representative. In the interest of your blog being accurate, and to curb any […]
China’s Foreign Ministry has denied that they plan on banning blacks from going in to bars during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, which kicks off next week. A statement posted on the ministry’s site said: “The report proved to be sheerly groundless as we checked with the Beijing Public Security Bureau. Beijing’s public security departments, including the Sanlitun police station, have never demanded that any bar stop serving customers from any region or country.” And my response to that is – We don’t believe you, you need more people.
