Wow this brings back memories…. I haven’t heard this track or seen this video in YEARS!!! Thank the Lord for YouTube! I remember when The Box Television first debuted in the UK in 1992. Back then the channel used to feature the best in Hip Hop, Reggae and R&B (from both sides of the Atlantic). RIHANNA TO STAR IN BODYGUARD REMAKE?

Via Digital Spy Rihanna has reportedly been linked with a proposed remake of romantic thriller The Bodyguard. According to the New York Daily News‘s Gatecrasher column, the singer has been approached to lead a “young and sexy” reboot of the 1992 film, which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner. An insider has claimed that the star held meetings in New York over the weekend to discuss future film projects, saying: “She’s been wanting to do movies for a while now.” I hope []

THE FOUR TOPS STAR LEVI STUBBS DIES

All the greats seem to leaving us…… Levi Stubbs, whose distinctive, rough-hewn voice and pleading vocal style elevated the Four Tops’ soul classics to masterpieces, died today at his Detroit home. He was 72. The Michigan native had been in ill health since being diagnosed with cancer in 1995. A stroke and other health problems led him to stop touring in 2000.
