Jay-Z, Bono, Rihanna and The Edge performed “Stranded” at The Hope For Haiti Now benefit concert on Friday night. It apparently took them only a week to put this track together. But judging by the sounds of it, I reckon it took them all but 5 minutes to put together…. The Hope For Haiti Now benefit concert raised more than $58 million.
Well it didn’t take Simon long to find the artists and to choose the song that will be covered….. Via BBC News Rod Stewart, Leona Lewis, JLS and Michael Buble have all agreed to take part in the Haiti charity single, which has been organised by Simon Cowell. I just love it when major artists from different genres come together and produce a song within a matter of minutes to raise money for charity… Via BBC News U2, Jay-Z and producer Swizz Beatz have recorded a song together to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquake.
