Last week it was announced that BBC Radio’s resident Hip Hop DJ Tim Westwood (54) will no longer be hosting his weekday BBC 1xtra show after September and is to be replaced by DJ Charlie Sloth. The new fresh and acceptable face of  all things “URBAN” over at BBC Radio towers . Tim however is still a BBC employee and will still host his show on Saturday nights and a new show on Sundays.
