Diddy and the equally annoying Ashton Kutcher hosted the 2009 White Party on Saturday (July 4th), in Los Angeles. Film director and founder of Rice n Peas Films Ishmahil Blagrove. London based film-maker and founder of Rice n Peas Films Ishmahil Blagrove has been locked up in an Israeli prison with more than twenty campaigners,  after their boat carrying aid to Gaza was seized on Tuesday.  The activists, who include Nobel Peace Laureate Mairead Maguire and former US senator Cynthia McKinney, were held at gunpoint and taken to Ramla High Security Prison after their mission was intercepted by the Israeli military. UK NEWS: TWO CHILDREN DIE IN TOWER BLOCK FIRE

Via BBC News Two children have died and 30 people were rescued after a fire swept through a tower block in south-east London. The pair, a three-week-old baby and a seven-year-old, were caught up in the blaze at 12-storey Lakanal House on the Sceaux Gardens Estate in Camberwell.
