Oh dear! Turbulent times within the UK showbiz scene folks. Last night ‘friend’ to Mad News BAFTA Award winning director, actor, writer, producer and ‘saviour’ Noel Clarke went in to rant mode via his blog and blasted individuals (no names were mentioned) who he implies have stolen “the whole Hood thing” from him. This is Nicki’s new single ‘My Love’ which uses a sample from one of Annie Lennox’s old tracks, (the name of the song escapes me) No More I Love You’s. Thanks everyone. For those who care…. it’s Mercury Prize time again folks! Singer Corrine Bailey Rae and Dizzie Rascal have both received Mercury Prize nominations, alongside “Modfather’ Paul Weller (he seems so up himself) and Biffy Cyflo (who?). Last year Speech Debelle took home the Mercury Prize and then promptly disappeared after THIS embarrassing incident. *Note: A Mercury win is supposed to boost sales and the artist’s profile. Earlier this year it had been reported that former Eastenders star Mohammed George who played wide eyed docile road sweeper Gus, had been thrown out of the show’s 25th anniversary party. N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos’ has had her £550,000 home burgled days after it featured in the group’s Channel 4 documentary Being.. N-Dubz. Continue Reading….. I watched last weeks episode, and it did cross my mind that Tulisa might be asking for trouble allowing them to film the outside/inside of her new home. But then again they did not show the street name or name the location. It wouldn’t surprise me if the thieves responsible are acquaintances.
