Prince William and Kate Middleton have announced the date and venue for their wedding in 2011. The couple will be married on Friday, April 29, at Westminster Abbey, and the Cabinet agreed this morning that the day will be a public holiday. ………………………………………………… Thats good news about the public holiday but it still hurts to think that a long with other tax-payers in this fair land of ours, I’m helping to pay for a wedding that I’m not even invited to. All I can do is laugh.

Former X-Factor contestant Gamu Nhengu has recorded a Christmas single in aid of a Scottish charity. Gamu who failed to make it to the live stages of the farcical TV show, will release the single  Where Will You Sleep This Christmas. The track will be released on 13 December. Gamu along with the rest of her family left Zimbabwe several years ago, and are currently battling to stay in the UK after they were granted the right to appeal against a decision forcing them to leave the country. Via Yahoo UK Singer Dane Bowers has been arrested by cops investigating the sale of illegal party drug mephedrone. The former Another Level star was taken into custody and quizzed by officers on Tuesday as part of a probe into a drugs bust worth £650,000. According to The Sun, police in Manchester have been involved in a five-month operation to bring down a group of dealers selling the drug at cage-fighting events, which Bowers allegedly promotes.
