14-year-old Serena Beakhurst was last seen leaving her home in Tulse Hill, South London and  vanished after catching a bus to attend a beauty course in Tooting on 15 December. Serena is described as being of mixed race, slim, 5ft 3in (160 cm) tall and with shoulder-length hair. She was also seen wearing a black leather jacket with a gold zipper when she was last seen. Allhiphop.com reports that rapper Gucci Man has been committed to a mental institution in Atlanta following a judge’s recommendation for him to serve jail time for violating the terms of his probation. Via BBC News Bobby Farrell, front man of the 1970s disco group Boney M, has died at the age of 61, his agent has announced. The singer was found dead in a hotel room in St Petersburg, Russia, where he had been performing, John Seine said.
