Oh dear…. Via The Evening Standard The deputy mayor of Lambeth has been arrested after an attack that left a man with a broken jaw and ribs and requiring 27 stitches. Liberal Democrat Judith Best, 51, attended a police station on Saturday and was arrested accused  of actual bodily harm with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm. She was bailed. Rolling Stone reports that the US government has asked Black Eyed Peas front man Will.i.am to organise a concert in Beijing China which will apparently help to “encourage cultural and educational exchanges between China and the United States. According to the publication ‘Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met with the rapper on Friday to discuss the project, which is part of the Obama administration’s 100,000 Strong Initiative,  a program developed to increase the number of Americans studying abroad in China’. Yesterday The Sunday Mirror reported that Amy Winehouse was in the process of adopting a 10 year-old St Lucian girl. The singer met Dannika Augustine in 2009 during a trip to St Lucia and according to the girl’s grandmother Marjorie Lambert, Amy was in the process of adopting her granddaughter just before she died.  Click HERE to read all about it. According to The Sunday Mirror  singer Amy Winehouse was in the process of  ‘adopting’ a 10-year-old St Lucian girl before she died suddenly last Saturday.
