WHITNEY HOUSTON’S LIFE CELEBRATED

Singer Whitney Houston’s funeral took place today in her hometown of Newark, New Jersey. Among the mourners were Oprah Winfrey, R.Kelly, Mary J Blige, Kevin Costner and Mariah Carey. I watched the entire service on CNN. It was uplifting but also heartbreaking. I still cannot believe that Whitney has left us so tragically at the age of 48. The star will be buried tomorrow. Rest In Peace Whitney Elizabeth Houston. Click HERE to view photographs.

UMA (URBAN MUSIC AWARDS) THREATENS MAD NEWS WITH LEGAL ACTION

So today I am sitting on the train minding my own business when I spot the red light on my Blackberry flashing.  A new email had arrived. The badly written email was from a gentleman claiming to be legal counsel for the Urban Music Awards, threatening legal action over a long forgotten news piece that I posted back in July 2009. Read the email below. I will spare the gentleman the embarrassment by opting to not include his name and company details (which []

AUSTRALIAN SOAP HOME & AWAY IS RACIST CLAIMS ACTOR

Oh dear.. looks like it’s all kicking off over in Summer Bay. Via The Telegraph Home and Away actor Jay Laga’aia has accused the show of racism in an angry Twitter rant, saying he was dropped because the series already had a  character of ethnic background. Laga’aia, an actor of Samoan descent who played the Rev Elijah Johnson, backed  calls for commercial television to end its “white Australia”   policy. “As someone who lost his job on H&A because they couldn’t write two  ethnics that weren’t together, I’d []

VIDEO: NICKI MINAJ GRAMMY PERFORMANCE DEBACLE 2012 / NICKI DEFENDS THE MESS

Hahahahahahahaha  – I still cannot get over just how BAD this performance was. A delusional Nicki called in to the Ryan Seacrest yesterday and said, “The Grammys chose ‘Roman Holiday,’” she explained, contradicting statements  made by Recording Academy producer Ken Ehrlich. “The producers of the Grammys came to the studio and I played them  ‘Roman Holiday,’ and I could not play them another record after they heard  that. “They went crazy. I could have chosen to do a no-brainer pop song, but I  can’t do []

VIDEO: CHAKA KHAN TALKS TO PIERS MORGAN ABOUT WHITNEY HOUSTON’S DEATH AND CLIVE DAVIS’ DECISION TO STILL HOST PARTY

… I am with Chaka Khan on this one. It was “insanity”. Clive Davis should have cancelled the party. His decision to still go ahead with the party was disappointing not to mention inappropriate and morbid. Kelly Osbourne was invited to the party but when it was announced that Whitney had died she said she was staying home, as it would be inappropriate to attend. When I saw photographs of Kim Kardashian posing on the red carpet, skinnin teeth and showing off her new breasts I just shook my []

SONY MUSIC APOLOGISE FOR HIKING UP WHITNEY HOUSTON’S ALBUM PRICES JUST HOURS AFTER HER DEATH
