NEW MUSIC: ESTELLE FT RICK ROSS – BREAK MY HEART

First let me say that I will always commend Estelle for giving the UK music industry the middle finger and moving to America, where she still enjoys a relatively successful career. Now on to her new single Break My Heart featuring Rick Ross… Break My Heart is the kind of track I would have playing in the background on a hot summer’s day. It’s well produced, catchy and Rick does what he does,  but unfortunately Estelle’s vocals sound off-key in parts and flat. I have said this []

VIDEO: JESSIE J – NOBODY’S PERFECT

Check out the video for Jessie J’s new single Nobody’s Perfect. The Track –  There is nothing particularly outstanding about this single. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, yes Jessie can sing but I still don’t see what all the hype is about. The Video – Judging from the Alice In Wonderland inspired video, no expense was spared for “woman of the moment” Jessie. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK MUSIC: DOT ROTTON – NORMAL HUMAN BEING

The name ‘Dot Rotton’ always makes me chuckle.  Anyway Normal Human Being is the new single from rapper Dot Cotton. Dot is a decent lyricist but he is in serious need of heavier and more polished production. The production on this track just sounds weak and empty. Sadly a lack of decent production still continues to let some generally talented UK acts down. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?
