It’s been announced that the highly anticipated Black Tie Comedy Awards, due to be held tonight (August 23rd), has been cancelled. The first ever Black Tie Comedy Awards organised in celebration of some of the UK’s top black comedians was supposed to be held at the IndigO2 but the Metropolitan Police apparently stepped in and shut it down. Michael Jackson’s doctor, Dr Conrad Murray has released a video thanking the public for their support. Murray is currently under police investigation and has been accused of causing Jackson’s death. Well that was odd! Rest In Peace Michael.

Kerry Katona has been dropped as the face of supermarket chain Iceland following allegations that she took cocaine. The News Of The World published photographs and video footage of the 28-year-old mother allegedly showing her snorting the class A drug in her home in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Iceland said that while the company had stood by the reality TV star during earlier personal difficulties, it was now “impossible” for her to continue in its advertising campaigns.
