Via BBC News X Factor bosses have admitted to using vocal enhancement processes on the ITV talent show. Fans had claimed after the opening show that “autotuning” had been used to improve some contestants’ voices. It is used in recording studios to improve performances by correcting pitch and disguising off-key mistakes. Continue Reading… Hilarious! How come they failed to enhance Jedward’s and Miss Frank’s vocals on last years show?

The “big dawg” Tim Westwood has claimed via Twitter that producers from ITV1 show Dancing On Ice have offered him £50K to appear on next years show as one of the ‘celebrity’ contestants. As expected most of Tim’s followers have encouraged him to join next years line up, I’m guessing for their own amusement. The Hip Hop/Rap show BBC Radio 1/ 1xtra DJ replied, “I’d have to dance on ice with a woman who looks like a man in drag. But then later followed up with, “What time does Baywater rink shut tonite? Photo Source. Last night I tuned into Sky 1 and watched the “innovative” new show Must Be The Music. Must Be The Music is basically The X-Factor but on a smaller budget, with rapper Dizzie Rascal, singer Sharleen Spiteri and singer/pianist Jamie Cullum fulfilling the roles as “our expert judges”. Dizzie, Sharleen and Jamie are on a search to find the best NEW music act in Britain and Ireland, and are looking for NEW acts of all ages, sizes and styles. I have typed the word […]

Via The Daily Mail Ian Wright was last night sacked from Channel 5 after refusing to promote the broadcaster’s shows. The former Arsenal player, 46, was axed from his nightly show, Live at Studio 5, after a row with executives when he refused to promote the channel’s ailing talent show Don’t Stop Believing. Rapper Tinchy Stryder appeared on GMTV last week and discussed his business venture with Jay-Z, and performed his new single In My System. Tinchy is a focused young man who has done really well for himself. But I will never be a fan of his music. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos’ has had her £550,000 home burgled days after it featured in the group’s Channel 4 documentary Being.. N-Dubz. Continue Reading….. I watched last weeks episode, and it did cross my mind that Tulisa might be asking for trouble allowing them to film the outside/inside of her new home. But then again they did not show the street name or name the location. It wouldn’t surprise me if the thieves responsible are acquaintances.

Glamour model, reality TV star, “author” and now “singer”, Katie Price aka Jordan performed her new single Free To Love Again on GMTV yesterday and looked absolutely ridiculous. To quote fellow blogger Kaydine “She looks like a damn bird”. The woman can’t even lip-synch properly. I don’t know what the woman’s trying to prove but she needs to STOP NOW! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

I watched T4 On The Beach 2010 today and was appalled. The sound was atrocious (heads will roll tomorrow morning) and some artists need serious vocal training. Check out Chipmunk ft Esmee Denters ( particularly from mark 2.50). Esmee is Justin Timberlake’s protege. Ellie Goulding – Starry Eyed. LOL! (shaking head)

Nike released the pretty impressive Write The Future commercial, promoting the World Cup just before it kicked off in South Africa on June 11th. Now people are calling the commercial the ‘curse of Nike’,’ because most of the players featured along with their team mates didn’t perform well (particularly England (waste men) and France) and have now all been knocked out of the tournament. Tennis champion Roger Federer also appears in the commercial and he was spectacularly knocked out of the Wimbledon […]
