Via BBC News George Michael has been given an eight-week sentence for crashing his car while under the influence of cannabis. He was also fined £1,250 at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court in London and given a five-year driving ban. Boyband JLS has teamed up with Durex and launched their own brand of condoms Just Love Safe, which will be available to buy in stores on Monday. Group member Marvin said, “We came up with the idea of Just Love Safe as we wanted to send a clear message out to fans that are over 16 and sexually active – and that is to always use a condom during sex.” All proceeds from the sales of the condoms will go to the JLS Charitable Foundation. Jamie Price (23), the son of music star Goldie, was jailed for life yesterday for the murder of rival gang member Marlon Morris. Price chased and stabbed to death an unarmed and disabled Morris, after leaving a nightclub in Wolverhampton in 2008. He must serve at least 21 years in prison. Overground Online reports that 64-year-old gay Church of England priest Rev Colin Coward, has announced plans to marry his 25-year-old Nigerian boyfriend Bobby Egbele, owner of online clothing store Bobafrique.com. Via BBC News Drum ‘n’ bass star Goldie has teamed up with Prince Harry to help organise a concert featuring 12 young musicians chosen after a nationwide search. BBC Two series Goldie’s Band – By Royal Appointment will follow Goldie as he searches the UK for 17 to 24-year-olds with “raw musical talent”.
