UK NEWS: DIZZEE RASCAL FACES LIFE LONG BRITISH AIRWAYS BAN AFTER ‘ABUSING STEWARDESS’

Via The Daily Mail Dizzee Rascal (real name Dylan Kwabena) was hauled off a plane at Heathrow yesterday for allegedly hurling abuse at a stewardess – and now he could face a life ban from British Airways. The rapper is said to have hurled foul-mouthed insults at the stewardess as he sat in First Class. He had been on his way to Portugal to the Optimus Alive! festival, where Coldplay and Foo Fighters were also on the bill, but as a result []

UK MUSIC/VIDEO: MUDDYLOOP FEATURING AMBROSIUS – ‘MIXTAPE’

Check out Muddyloop’s new single Mixtape featuring singer/songwriter Ambrosius (real name Marvin Ambrosius and younger brother of songstress Marsha Ambrosius). ……………………………………….. I love Ambrosius’ voice and Mixtape definitely gets the thumbs up from me. This is a track I plan on blasting to death throughout the summer. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK MUSIC: IKES – THE PREPARATION

Check out unsigned rapper from London IKES and his new track The Preparation. The track is well produced and he has a relatively decent flow (which does sound familiar).  The 15-21 year old demographic will like this. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK MUSIC: DUCHESS FT SCORCHER – ALL THE BOYZ

Check out new girl group Duchess and their single All The Boyz featuring Scorcher. ……………………… The song isn’t terrible, I’ve heard worse. And it could have done without Scorcher. Again not every song needs to feature a guest rapper. Most of the time the UK rappers (of the moment) just end up ruining an otherwise decent song with their awkward flows and lack of sex appeal. The video – It looks as if it was made in the early noughties and one []

UK MUSIC: NATHAN FT WRETCH 32 – HANGOVER

Singer Nathan teams up with rapper Wretch 32 on his new single Hangover. …………………………………………………… I really like the song, however it does sound uncannily like Jamie Fox’s Blame It (On The Alcohol). Hangover could have done without featuring Wretch 32. When will UK artists understand that not every song needs to feature a guest rapper? The video – I see no expense was spared. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK MUSIC: AKS – HOUSE CALLED HOME

Rapper AKS has finally released a video for the single House Called Home, which I am very pleased about. I am still loving this track! The Bus Stop EP is OUT NOW via Less Is More Music, available on iTunes and all good digital record stores with limited edition physical copies available via TheBusStopEP.com. …………………………………… Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

VIDEO: ESTELLE FT RICK ROSS – BREAK MY HEART

………………………………………………………. I have said this before and I will say it again Estelle is no singer, she is a rapper. Her vocals on this track sound flat in parts and slightly off-key. But Rick Ross and decent production save Break My Heart. The video – Very slick and we see Estelle strolling around in a swimming costume, which is a first. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK MUSIC: AMBROSIUS – DOWNLOAD ME

Younger brother to one of the UK’s most successful soulful exports, Marsha Ambrosius (Formerly of Floetry), he has written melodies and lyrics for tracks by Angie Stone, Floetry, The Game and Nas. He has also penned tracks with Scott Storch, title track for platinum selling artist Alesha Dixon’s album “The Alesha Show”, Cool & Dre, and crossed the waters by writing a platinum selling single for Japanese boy band Toshinki. After so many years []

UK MUSIC: PW – WINNER

Check out 18-year-old newcomer PW and his single Winner. ……………………………………….. He reminds me of Chipmunk but the single will probably wet the appetites of the 13-16 year old demographic. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?
