I have said this before and I will say it again Estelle is no singer, she is a rapper. Her vocals on this track sound flat in parts and slightly off-key. But Rick Ross and decent production save Break My Heart.
The video – Very slick and we see Estelle strolling around in a swimming costume, which is a first.

This is the same move they done with Ms Dynamite, got her singing away when she was known for her rapping. It normally starts to go downhill from here, though I wish Estelle all the best.

ok track, love the red hair. I agree, rapping is definitely her strength over singing but as with any other product, you need to tailor accordingly for your audience’s requirements. Good to see she still has a record deal. I don’t buy music anymore but I hope she sells well!
She sounds like an X-Factor reject on this track. Now I know what people are talking about regarding the vocals. Man this is one airbrushed music video to boot.
