50 CENT “REALITY” SHOW COMING TO MTV

Rapper 50 Cent is teaming with MTV to produce an untitled reality show for the network announced yesterday (May 28). According to MTV, the elimination style reality show follows 16 contestants as they attempt to master the “skills that took 50 Cent from the streets to corporate America.” The rapper will judge the contestants each week, until the finale, where a winner will receive a full scholarship to an undergraduate or graduate business program. The R.Kelly child pornography trial came to an abrupt halt yesterday after the defence team received a call from a potential witness who said he could help the R&B star’s case. Kelly’s attorney, Sam Adam Sr, said he did not know about the witness until he received the call this morning. Murdered Nisha-Patel-Nasri with husband Fadi Nasri The husband of special constable Nisha Patel-Nasri has been found guilty of her murder. Fadi Nasri, 34, was accused of organising the killing of the 29-year-old, who was stabbed outside their London home in May 2006. The Old Bailey heard Nasri wanted her dead to pay off debts with his wife’s £350,000 life insurance policy, and because he was having an affair. UK rapper DJ Ironik will release his new track “Stay With Me” (Digital) June 16th and in stores June 30th. When I first heard this track on MTV Base I cringed. I thought his flow sounded awkward over the beat, the track sounded sappy and the speeded up/high pitched vocals sounded so dated in 08 – very Kanye 2003/2004.
