Superstar Beyonce is featured on the cover of French magazine L’Officiel Paris, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary. The theme running through the March issue is “African Queen” and also pays tribute to Nigerian musician and human rights activist Fela Kuti. Instead of just choosing a dark-skinned African model to represent the “African Queen”, Beyonce was chosen, and the editorial team also thought it would be “artistic” to darken her face. All Of The Lights is officially one of my favourite Kanye tracks. I love it! The video – Director Hype Williams has definitely lost his “creative mojo”. That or the labels have slashed his video budget. He definitely did his best work in the late 90s / early noughties when he was probably given more money to play with. Your thoughts please. New group Odd Future performed their new single ‘Sandwiches’ on the Jimmy Fallon show and it was shall we say (long pause) DIFFERENT! They sort of remind me of the group Oynx during their heyday in the early 1990s. They are just grimey and a ball of energy.
