Via The Guardian The managers of Madonna’s charity in Malawi have been ousted after they squandered $3.8m (£2.4m) on a school that will never be built, it has been reported. The damning audit came as Raising Malawi confirmed it has scrapped plans for a $15m elite academy for girls. The Justice for Smiley Culture public meeting took place several hours ago at Brixton Town Hall in London. British Reggae star Smiley Culture (real name David Emmanuel) who burst on to the music scene in the mid 1980s died on the 15 March during a police raid inside his Surrey home. The co-creator of the hit ITV 1 show Midsomer Murders, Brian True-May, will step down from his role as producer at the end of the current series, after he  said that there was no place for ethnic minorities in the show.
