Oh dear oh dear……. While discussing the planets and outer space with a guest (does anyone know her name) on the BBC One Show this evening, the guest tells hosts Chris Evans  and Alex Jones  that “there’s plenty out there for us to see but unfortunately not tonight”. UK TV / VIDEO: BBC DEFENDS ‘HOLBY CITY’ GAY KISS

I am a huge Holby City fan and this was a really good episode. I just thought the characters were in competition with each other, hence the constant arguing.  I had no idea there was more to it. UK NEWS: COURT RULES SCHOOL’S BAN ON CORNROW HAIRSTYLE WAS UNLAWFUL AND INDIRECT RACIAL DISCRIMINATION

Via BBC News A London school’s ban of the cornrows hairstyle resulted in “unlawful, indirect racial discrimination”, the High Court has ruled. Mr Justice Collins said the ban by St Gregory’s Catholic Science College in Harrow was not unlawful in itself, but should have taken into account individual pupils’ family traditions. On Wednesday night (15 June) Alicia Keys’ prestigious Keep A Child Alive Black Ball took place at London’s The Roundhouse.
