The BBC Radio Hackney Weekend music festival took place this past weekend and judging from the feedback it was a huge success. I didn’t attend but watched some of the performances on BBC 3. Well it’s almost here folks!!!  The highly anticipated BBC Radio Hackney Weekend music festival will take over Hackney Marshes this weekend. If you were to tell me years ago that BBC Radio would host a major music event in delightful Hackney and on the marshes I would have laughed my head of and sent you on your way.
