JAY-Z DONS HIS “ANGEL WINGS” AND BUYS GENERATOR FOR HIS NYC BUILDING HIT BY HURRICANE SANDY

Jay-Z’s neighbours are currently jumping for joy after the rapper purchased a generator  for their hurricane hit apartment building. According to Page Six Jigga along with his wife and child fled the building before Hurricane Sandy hit New York to stay in the lavish Mandarin Oriental Hotel. But a thoughtful Jay decided to help out his neighbours by supplying them with a generator. The grateful residents now think the Angel Gabriel has returned in the form of the Jigga Man and refer to him as their “guardian angel” for helping them out. []

UK NEWS: SCREEN NATION AWARDS CANCELLED TO “PROTECT THE SCREEN NATION BRAND”

The Voice Online reports that the annual Screen Nation Film & Television Awards (aka the ‘black Oscars’) which is due to take place on Sunday (November 11th) at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel has now been cancelled. In a rather intriguing statement organisers said that the event had been cancelled to “protect the Screen Nation Brand” and blamed the last-minute cancellation on “delays in payment,  partners pulling out at late notice and a major health and safety issue.
