Long before the dance cheesefest Step Up and the UK’s even cheesier Street Dance came Breakdance (In America the film was called Breakin but in the UK the title was changed to Breakdance). I LOVED this film when I was a kid and as far as I am concerned it is a classic. Check out a young fresh faced Ice T in the clip below. Hahaha. Ozone and Turbo meet Elektrorock at the club for a battle. Ice T is the MC!

Old Christopher Jones here probably plays ‘Niggas In Paris’ morning, noon and night. Well when you have idiotic black rappers successfully pushing this vile word in to the mainstream and Jay-Z sitting opposite Oprah (a woman born and raised in the deep South during a time of segregation, lynchings and Civil Rights marches) telling her and millions of viewers that “it’s now a “term of endearment. We have reclaimed the word” ( Erm..how can we reclaim a word that we never gave to ourselves Einstein?) then this foolishness below was bound to happen at some […]

Following on from Forbes’ US Cash Kings 2012 List (Hip-Hop’s Top Earners) the Jump Off UK debate team decided to create their own UK Rap Cash Kings 2012 list, with hilarious and questionable results. … I bet this debate stirs up some controversy within UK rap circles come tomorrow morning. I can hear it all now.. “Why wasn’t I on the list?”, What does she mean I shouldn’t be on the list?” and “What the f**k? I made more money then MC Harvey”. […]

Former Marcy Projects waste man Shawn Carter aka Jay-Z treats fans to a behind the scenes look at the creation of his Barclays Center opening shows, which took place earlier this year. For Jay-Z hero worshippers this documentary is probably up there with watching the late great Michael Jackson working behind the scenes preparing for his legendary BAD concerts. But for individuals like myself this documentary is duller than dirty dish water. Same old Jay *yawn*.

What better way to start your Monday morning then to listen to Sean Fury’s stirring rendition of the US national anthem. God Bless America. 🙂

… “Black chicks, white chicks and the lighties” – Are “lighties” now considered a separate race within the black community? Anyway Skepta has done a good job of recapturing the early So Solid vibe, sound and visuals alongside the group’s leader Megaman. So good in fact that at first I thought it was Megaman featuring Skepta. I was a So Solid fan so I really like this track. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

During a visit to a country pub popular TV chef Lorraine Pascale was told by the pub landlord that “all niggers should go home”. The presenter of Baking Made Easy tweeted: I don’t know who angers me the most. The racist pub landlord or Lorraine Pascale who after being racially abused still put money in the landlord’s pocket by purchasing his stinking pork scratchings. Why would you still go ahead and purchase the cretin’s goods after that outburst? I would have thrown the pork scratchings down, walked out of […]

… I like RoxXxan but I am not a fan of this track. There is just too much going on here but a younger audience will probably love it. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?
