In a new South African McDonald’s commercial children from the Sakhumzi orphanage in Cape Town can be seen paying a visit to a McDonald’s restaurant. But the fast food chain has been accused of exploiting a concerning issue. (Click here to read) I would like to know if the children and the nurse (seen at the start of the commercial) received payment from McDonald’s for appearing in this commercial. The Voice reports that Michael Jackson lookalike/impersonator Keith Preddie has admitted to assaulting his wife Emma after she purchased a Christmas present for his mother. Preddie who won GMTV’s ‘Dad of the Year’ in 2010 and later appeared on the channel 4 show Come Dine With Me admitted one count of assault at Croydon Magistrates Court on Tuesday (March 19). Reflections Unheard: Black Women In Civil Rights focuses on the marginalization of black women between the Black Power and Feminist ideologies of the 60s and 70s, up to the present day. Cousin’s Marcus Noble and Rakeem Noble (2Noble Entertainment) have come together to create the 36 minute short film Dad in a Day. The short is written and directed by Marcus (20), a Film and Digital Arts degree student at The BRIT School in Croydon and his cousin Rakeem (23), a law graduate co-produced and also stars in the project. ‘Dad in a Day’ is a story that follows Reece (Marcus Noble) an everyday young man’s coming of age.
