Black British stars Idris Elba and Chiwetel Ejiofor have both received ‘Best Actor’ Golden Globes nominations. The sign language interpreter who appeared at Nelson Mandela’s memorial and was later exposed as being a fake has been named, and claims he suffered a schizophrenic episode on stage that left him unable to do his job properly. Thamsanqa Jantjie told the Johannesburg Star: “There was nothing I could do. I was alone in a very dangerous situation. I tried to control myself and not show the world what was going on.
