According to recent research published in the UK national media and conducted by the UK Household Longitudinal Study, 72% of Black people said they were unlikely or very unlikely to have the COVID-19 vaccination.
As the number of individuals affected by the virus is largely from the ethnic minority community, (African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust) will be hosting an online live open discussion, addressing the hesitancy within the UK Black community.
The event will include a panel of medical professionals, former Professional Footballer and kidney transplant recipient Andrew Cole, in addition to a keynote address from ITV News Anchor Charlene White. It will also be moderated by 5 Newsreader Claudia Liza-Armah.
