UK News: Radio Personality Dr. Psycho Dies

Popular radio personality Brian Bogle also known as Dr Psycho has sadly passed away. He was 44 years old.

On October 26 it was reported on the Mi-Soul Radio website that he had been admitted to hospital. Following an operation Bogle later died on October 30.

The larger than life DJ started performing back in 1989 with the sound system Rapattack which eventually lead to him working with Rampage (1991 – 1999).

Throughout the years Bogle DJ’d, hosted and performed alongside many artists including Busta Rhymes, Jodeci, Snoop Dogg, J Cole, Tony Matterhorn, Boyz II Men and The Bad Boy Family.

Before his untimely death he hosted the show The Musical Massage on Mi-Soul Radio.

Peta Cooper, who worked with Bogle at Asian FX Radio said,

“Dr. Psycho was larger than life, my goodness the man defined radio banter. One thing I have to say about him, he wasn’t the type of radio presenter that only looked out from himself. He looked out for all of his colleagues and would always stand up for you against office politics. A rare trait in this industry, I will remember him fondly.”

Mi-Soul Radio posted:

To the forever smiling, altruistic entertainer. The ultimate people person, innovator and creator. To the undeviating spreader of love, joy and happiness and to the biggest of all imaginations. To our friend, colleague and ambassador. Brian Bogle, Dr Psycho…forever in our hearts – We salute you.

Rest In Peace Brian Bogle (Dr Psycho).
