Founder of the Brixton Soup Kitchen, Solomon Smith, has been awarded an Honorary Masters Degree for his continued brilliant work in the community.

Smith founded the Brixton Soup Kitchen in January 2013, a grassroots organisation that helps homeless people and Londoners in need.

So far over 10,000 meals have been served to those in need.

The organisation also offers CV workshops, job guidance and advice on housing and benefits.
