Boxing legend and activist Muhammad Ali died on Friday (June 3) at a hospital in the US city of Phoenix, Arizona.  He was 74 years old.

Septic shock was the cause of Ali’s death, a family spokesman said Saturday.

A public memorial service and funeral procession will be held Friday (June 10) for Ali in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

The man was fearless in and outside of the ring. He simply was the greatest.
