Apple has launched it’s new 24 hour radio station Beats 1 and announced that Julie Adenuga has joined the station.
Adenuga is going to present the British section of Beats 1, broadcasting from a radio studio in London. She will also be joined by former BBC Radio 1 presenter Zane Lowe, who will feature on the station from Los Angeles, along with HOT 97’s Ebro Darden who will broadcast from New York City.
Adenuga’s radio career began five years ago at London community station Rinse FM.
Apple describes the rising radio star as a “dynamic new voice from the UK” who has “instantly gone from relative unknown to one of London’s most vital tastemakers.”
