A deal has been struck between Enfield Council and Cineworld (Enfield) to allow residents to watch four special films, shown to celebrate Black History Month, for just £3 each.
The films are 12 Years A Slave, Belle, The Butler and Red Tails.
Cllr Rohini Simbodyal, Cabinet Member for Culture, Sport, Leisure and Public Health said,
“We’re worked with Cineworld (Enfield) to make these four films, screened especially for Black History Month accessible to as many people as possible.
“These films shine a light on the experiences of black people throughout history, and emphasise the struggles they have faced for recognition and respect while enduring significant privations.”
