1. Back2blk is a god awful name for a gala or event. It sounds horribly low class , its just no bueno. The wallpaper behind those ladies looks like a dark chocolate wrapper from M&S . I never understood the point of celebrating middle aged and old people ( the same ones white people celebrate) over and over again and add even more 35+ people . Next year Marie Seacole will get a posthumous award ugh !

3. @lechatnoir people like you piss me right off. At least they’re doing something, what are you doing? was you saying back to black was low class when Amy Winehouse gave the title to her album, everyone always complaining about black events and lack of black films etc, but when the creators ask for funding, no one says or gives nada. I’m proud of the guys and with the fact that they are giving recognition to black people doing postive things, and to me that is bueno, esta muy bueno. If you hate it that much lets do something better get in contact with me I’m down.

4. The event was a huge a success and the winners are people who have been making positive moves in the community for a number of years. I also have no problem with the name. I applaud the founder and organisers.
