The Brent & Kilburn Times reports that actor and director Samuell Benta has been named the new patron of Wembley Crime Prevention.
The organisation was founded in 1984 and works in partnership with the police, charities, local groups and Brent Council to help make the borough of Brent a safer community.
Benta who is also the creator of the hit black British web series All About The McKenzies, will work on their projects and initiatives at youth centres, schools, businesses and the community.
Keith Harwood, Chairman for Wembley Crime Prevention, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Samuell as our Patron.We’re very privileged he has come on board and look forward to working with him.”
