Mario Balotelli

Football fans (not all) have to be some of the lowest and most ridiculous individuals to walk the face of the earth. 

Liverpool player Mario Balotelli suffered racial abuse after he poked fun at Manchester United’s shock defeat against Leicester (5-3).

The pathetic abuse was triggered by this tweet

Furious Manchester United fans who conveniently forgot that black men play for their team tweeted the following to Balotelli,

@CraigSainsbury  F**k you Mario you f*****g nigger. Got eat some bananas and get ebola you dirty monkey.

@MaxwellDow Shut up u black monkey.

@Maroczz£ You’re a f****g monkey ooh ohh ah ah.

Merseyside police has confirmed that they are looking into the offensive comments made on Twitter and added that there have been no complaints, but they have been made aware of the situation by a number of press inquiries.

In response to this dire situation former Arsenal striker Ian Wright tweeted:

It always irritates me when an incident of this nature happens and black people respond with “I can’t believe this is still happening in this day and age”blah blah blah.

Stop acting brand new and BELIEVE IT .  Racism still exists in 2014, it comes in many forms and it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. 

And when it comes to these types of football “fans” it doesn’t take much to trigger off a tirade of racial abuse. Just being black is enough.
