3. Shaking my head… Seriously how can he talk about not seeing colour? It’s because he has the privilege of people not being able to look at his colour because he’s white! Others don’t have that privilege because the first thing that others notice about us is about is that we’re black, Asian or whatever.

   He thinks he’s in the same situation as the black people he grew up with, but I’ll give him some credit because I don’t think he’s wise enough to realise that he truly is in a better situation and has one up because of him being white.

5. As some one who lives in Harlesden / Stongebridge i know this area is not pretty and the particular estate he grew up in was a nasty breeding ground for the worst things in life. Thankfully half of Stongebridge has been knocked down and the local authority are at least making amends to the shambles of years ago, So i give K Koke that.
   But what winds me up on this thing is when you are given just the small sign of a chance to improve your life people like K Koke never takes advantage when it has been handed to them. Why is he always begging back the life he came from when he had a chance for change?

   Also why oh why do people in 2013 link black people to anyone who has a “urban” accent and maybe lacking in a decent education? Is that all that black people are now? Why is this stupid notion supported by so many black people these days?
   He has been raised, brought up and schooled in WHITE ENGLISH RUN DOWN LONDON LOWER CLASS CULTURED BRITAIN (WITH A SPRINKLE OF AMERICAN GHETTOISMS LIFESTYLE)!!! not Africa, not the Caribbean and not any other black owned or governed land.

10. K Koke is in a privileged position because the colour of his skin whether he likes it or not. A big reason Roc Nation signed him was because of the colour of his skin, look at him, he gets a little bit of treatment black people have been getting for 100s of years to just get a 9-5 job and look how he is crying, talking about he needs to go back to the roads, like he doesn’t have other options, and the fact of him talking about racism being over for black people shows just how ignorant and dumb he is.

    This is what I have been thinking and saying for some time. The police have targeted him because of the “crew” he rolls with.

    My friend suggested today that Koke follow in Plan B’s footsteps. Lose the road man crew, then put on a suit and start singing Soul music, then write a screenplay and make a film. And on the odd occasion rap about his life living on the Stonebridge estate. He would get away with this, he has the luxury like Plan B and Professor Green to be able to dip in and out because of his skin colour.

    Artists who look like Giggs and Megaman don’t have the same luxury.

16. Good grief, this boy is really dunce. He’s one of those white people that scream “Racist”, once any discussion about race is attempted by black people who are not dunce like him. He is a racist and like typical white racists who roll with black people, he only respects a certain kind of “black”. He’s a product of his environment? So what about the many white and black kids who never followed his drugs selling path who also lived on the old Stonebridge Estate? This is what happens when black people stop respecting black intellectuality. We have our own cruffs to deal with, but becasue “our” cruffness” is seen as generally more attractive than other “ethnic cruffness”, we have to deal with the other cruffs of other ethnicities/races who follow behind our lost kids.
    This kind of thing makes me wish for the days when you had to be more than “down” to even think of dropping any patois or Black British slang in front of Black people, if you wasn’t black. Better still, even if you weren’t jeered and mocked, a white person knew that they were white. However since our fight for equality has been interpreted by too many of us as being able to walk down the road with a white partner without being called “nigger’, Black people (mostly the brothers who like a white lady) think that the fight is over. I never thought I would see the day when certain black people would be so thirsty for a white friend to the point that nuff of them get prang when a black person even mentions the word “white”. That’s why this dunce bat thinks like he thinks and really believes it. No black people in real life have given him the required jerk up!
    We Black people in Britain, especially in the much lauded Multicultural London (as if New York isn’t multicultural) need to realise that we are not tolerated unless we fit into a very narrow box of what has been prescribed to us as “black”. Sorry to sound sniffy, but a very large part of me resents this new “tolerance”. I can only see Black Men or women who want to partner up with white people as benefitting from it( nothing particularly wrong with that). Everybody else best to keep their apparently” racist” thoughts to themselves.

To how so many of them carry on, you would think that they would rather be called a paedophile than a racist. That’s a good way of inhibiting discussion. Props to the school curriculum. Given a few more years with roc nation and not being blocked by police, with some bit of success and money in his bag, he would have been one of those of white people who feel superior when around black people. Yes Stonebridge had/has a large proportion of black people living there but they are not only black, they are also poor. I certainly dont view his mannerisms as ‘black’ but of a person who is uneducated and probably from a poor background. i.e. lower/ working class. Let’s not confuse race and culture with socio-demographics
