Performance artist George the Poet takes on the government’s campaign against illegal immigrants, in which a mobile advertising hoarding is driven around diverse areas of London. George Mpanga, the son of immigrants, grew up in Stonebridge Park, north-west London, and recently graduated from the University of Cambridge.

Hmmmm…. It will be interesting to see how major label Island Records plans to promote and market an artist like George. Let’s be honest here label executives these days just don’t have a clue.  Then fast forward a year, two years from now and the artist is on Twitter blasting the label for the lack of care and attention and stalling when it comes to releasing their project.
