BRITISH ACTRESS SOPHIE OKONEDO TO JOIN DENZEL WASHINGTON IN ‘A RAISIN IN THE SUN’ ON BROADWAY

The British Blacklist reports that British actress Sophie Okonedo will be joining  Denzel Washington, Diahann Caroll and Anika Noni Rose to star in the classic play ‘ A Raisin In The Sun’ on Broadway in New York City. According to Broadway.com the production will be directed by Tony Award-nominee Kenny Leon. Previews begin March 8, 2014, with opening night on April 3, 2014 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street), where the original production of A Raisin in the Sun opened 55 years ago. A []

British teenager Myles Litchmore-Dunbar, 19, is accused of stabbing a fellow holidaymaker to death and  faces a one year wait in a Greek prison cell until he gets a trial.
