Female shot putter Nadzeya Ostapchuk has been stripped of her gold medal after failing a drugs test. The 31-year-old athlete from Belarus tested positive for anabolic agent metenolone. The gold medal will now go to New Zealand’s Valerie Adams, silver will go to Russia’s Evgeniia Kolodko and Lijiao Gong of China will get the bronze medal.
