Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Perhaps I am wrong for thinking this but when some one announces that they have made a short film I usually think the film will be between ten and fifteen minutes long.  Not one minute and thirty-two seconds worth of nothing.

Anyway last night an over-excited Sean Combs aka P Diddy announced to all his followers that his “new short film” Le Premier was now available to watch. I clicked on play and thought it was the film’s trailer.

The 64th Cannes Film Festival took place a few weeks ago, and was a celebration of film, arts and glamour; A slick mixture of old Hollywood, Red-carpet premieres, and the quintessential yacht party.

Diddy a regular to Cannes, a gentleman of exquisite means and the international archetype of the soirée, reminds us all in this short film, that while many other rappers have come and gone.. “Diddy was here first”

Hilarious! WHAT a load of rubbish.

I bet the people who organise the Cannes Film Festival continue to wish each year that the likes of Diddy just stay home.
