First his BBC 1xtra show is axed and now Proud2 have axed tonight’s Tim Westwood party.

I wonder why this hugely popular event has been cancelled. Does anyone know?

Since the news broke that Westwood’s BBC 1xtra show has been axed some have been saying that the other BBC Radio Hip Hop DJ Charlie Sloth is being groomed to slowly take over from the Big Dawg. It wouldn’t surprise me if this is in fact the BBC’s plan. He plays the music that the youth want to hear, they like him and his face fits.
