The Florida special prosecutor announced a second-degree murder charge on Wednesday against George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
Angela B. Corey, the prosecutor, said Mr. Zimmerman, 28, a crime watch volunteer, will appear before a magistrate within the next 24 hours. He is accused of fatally shooting Mr. Martin, an unarmed teenager, in a case that has captivated the country and brought to the fore issues of race, violence and precisely what constitutes self-defense.

Well it’s about time! But if it wasn’t for the online petitions, the protests and the public outrage and disgust the authorities would have closed this case for good and that lunatic Zimmerman would still be walking the streets.

I am skeptical of this whole situation now, why so long to come to a decision, the bum shot the lad in cold blood, what is there more to consider?
I’m happy that there’s finally some progress, but can’t get too happy until this man is convicted and sentenced. Let’s pray it gets that far.

I know i’m really late on most of the post…..Well by now you all know that he made bail! In which i knew he would… But more so the amount of bail was insulting as hell. But not surprised the amount put on a Black life is nothing at all. There will be no real justice….just wait and see. I have seen this too many times. This case will probably come to trial in a year or so. And they are more concern with protecting him.. But could care less about Trayvon…..
