I don’t see the problem… derrogatory and violent lyrics in some hip hop music all day long, syndicated world-wide all day every day and people are vexed at a singing legend who’s trying to get the retirement cheques in… Leave my girl MJB alone

The only time somebody would sing about food especially chicken would be in jest. KG and Marston’s No Chicken comes to mind. What about that rhyme we used to sing in nursery about wanting the chicken to lay an egg because it was 3:30 and the person wanted one for their tea?
This song is a mockery and Mary J Blige has made herself a worldwide laughing stock for participating in such foolishness. There is no defense for this folly.
But surely we need to pick our battles… and this can’t be top of the list….
