1. I wonder if Whitney was still alive, would they have released the movie in UK,

   Since the movie has a predominantly Black cast?

   It’s not my type of movies either!
   The truth is, I wish I could see a
   predominantly Black cast playing in other genre of movies ( SCI-FI, historical etc..).

   I was just pointing out that the movie isn’t even special IMO and most of people playing on it are not well known in UK. If Whitney didn’t die, they would have never had release the movie here.

   These motown kinda films don’t get me wrong I love seeing an all black cast but it always has to be music

   I agree with you. It would be good to see an all black cast in something else other than music

   Yes, surprisingly the film was always due a UK release (October) before her death.

   The interesting thing will be how its marketted here in the UK.
