Earlier this month it was revealed that celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson had been arrested and cautioned for stealing wine and cheese from his local Tesco supermarket (click here to read) He then later apologised and said he would “seek counselling”.
Now the star claims his problems relate to being sexually abused and bullied as a child. He also told Adrian Chiles during a pre-recorded interview for ITV 1’s That Sunday Night Show,
‘My counsellor thinks I am a guy with a gun which is fully loaded and I have to let that drop.
‘He’s told me people are not out to attack me. I have had to fight for everything I have but I have done bad – there is no doubt about it.’
Antony suddenly reveals a ‘troubled’ past after being caught shoplifting. Hmmm… HOW CONVENIENT.
