Former heavyweight boxing champion ‘Smokin’ Joe Frazier has died after a brief fight with liver cancer.
Frazier was diagnosed with liver cancer last month and was later admitted to a hospice where he died.
He was 67 years old.

Sad Sad day I read his autobiography a few years back and couldn’t out it down an unsung hero. I never realised until reading the book that Joe Frazier actually gave Muhammed Ali money when Ali refused to fight in the Vietnam war and was struggling and how did Ali return the favour???? by calling the man an uncle tom SMH

I was very sad to hear this, Joe was a real legend. A real shame that he and Ali had a shaky relationship, Joe’s version was never really aired and it was all about Ali. Reading around the story I can understand why Joe remained very bitter about Ali even through his Parkinson disease. Looks like Ali had a really dark side that was never really shown.
