It’s now been announced that the statements below said to be from Young Money / Nicki Minaj are FAKE.
But I wonder who is behind these ‘fake’ statements…hmmmmm….
It was announced earlier this year that Sean Combs aka P.Diddy had signed on to manage Nicki Minaj’s career. Then for some reason the story was later denied.
Anyway a dissatisfied Nicki has now fired the mogul.

Statement from Young Money – Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown breakout superstar NICKI MINAJ has decided to dismiss rap mogul, Sean “P diddy Combs” as her music manager and has recently signed a new deal with MEGA MANAGER, BENNY MEDINA, whose current and past clients include Multi Grammy Award winning recording artist, MARIAH CAREY, GWEN STEFANI, BRANDY, AND MORE.
Statement from Nicki Minaj –“By now, everyone should now that I am really strict when it comes to my representation. I had sympathy for Sean however I feel as if I haven’t gotten the guidance the manager is supposed to give his client. Personally, I feel like I’m being managed by mother. Even if you play the smallest role on my team, I wish to see progress. I’d like to thank him for everything he has done for me; for taking me under his wing. I wish him the best with repping Rick. But now that my album is about to drop, its time to get serious and stop playing games. If I could turn back time…I wouldn’t have made the decision to let Troy go.”

Hmmmm as much as I am not a fan of Diddy, I forgot he was managing her. Why? She’s blown up big time (I don’t like this chick though)
How many collaborations has she done BEFORE her album has dropped?
Nicki Minaj is everywhere, and if Diddy had a hand in that then well kudos to him.
Minaj needs to be careful. Medina may take you places but he also gets DROPPED real quick by his clients. So if she thinks Diddy was bad then good luck with Benny. Something tells me it will be same shit, different representation.
Good publicity stunt. :-D. Who on earth could possibly take responsibility 4 her barbie antics apart from herself.lol She’s lucky she has attained the publicity and ‘success’ she has now through Diddy. 😀
She is truly awful. I just hate her image. She looks and sounds ridiculous. Her label etc keeps trying to put it out there that she’s really popular but I don’t believe it.
Oh! I love Nicki Minaj. I think you have to take her for what she is, some fun. She’s repetitive but I respect her for filling a void that was obviously there for a female MC who could hold her own with the dudes and we havent had anyone fresh like that for a long time.

Find her entertaining, she makes me laugh, plus she does crazy very well.
I like Nicki….i think she knows how to sell herself. It is not different from any other so calles main stream artist. I think sometimes we don’t like people for the wrong reason. I don’t like the way she talks ..she sounds like a fool to me. But i look at it as an image and she is trying to make money. Now does that mean i like everything about her…no….but she knows hot to get our attention….so good luck to her. Plus for me no matter who rich Diddy has become…i don’t really care for him and what he has to offer. I knew if he were reping her…it wouldn’t last. What has Diddy really done lately anyway for anyone other than himself…nothing….. Benny Medina is greedy…so watch out…..not the most honest man…
Yeah, she knows how to get the attention alright. It doesn’t make her any better. But bottom line, she’s making that money. Aren’t we all. 😀

I hate her because i believe her whole get-up is an act, it is a show, she is not to be taken seriously, her, and her music, is not FOR REAL… Lil Kim pushed the boundaries of real and make believe in terms of a female Artist and how they present themselves, but she has flown over the line (IMHO) where it no longer matters if your real, being fake is like an order of the day not only in hip hop but thats what we are taking about here… and to me she is a shining example of what exactly is wrong with TODAYS offering of hip hop, but most fans of todays hip hop couldn’t care less, and it flippin’ buns me!
