1. Love Oprah, she’s awesome….Wish I was going to.

2. Oprah is the BEST. I bet you quite a few dont have passports, Americans generally dont carry those things lol

3. I think it was a great surprise. Well you’re right SOME Americans don’t carry a passport….but this American does…and i’m Black.lol! say what!

4. Aside from them all going to Oz and the Aussie footing the 3 million tax bill, that is all I know.

   I REALLY hope the ones going are well deserving. I say that to say this. now of course I’m not Oprah BUT I would have sent 300 members of the audience from under privilieged backgrounds who probably will never have the means or the opportunity to go on such a trip like that in their lifetime. Not those glammed up Stepford looking wives type that probably stay at home all day spending hubby money. Ya know, the typical looking Oprah audience.

5. LondonDiva..now you know the people going are not well deserving. You can look at some of the people and tell. Her audience is mainly middle class white people… That tells you right there weather they are deserving or not. But it would have been amazing to see 300 under privileged people going to Oz. But i can bitch about Oprah… and i see her all the time because i work a block from her studio. And amazing enough….she is very friendly.. You know when you’re surrounded by a lot of whites…the look other Blacks give each other…she does as well. Meaning she acknowledge…us when she sees us. Plus she does a lot for Black people everywhere…so many things most people don’t know about. Now her show….i don’t much watch…not for me. Some topics…are ok…but she tend to lean toward .,…what her white audience wants…. But hey…we can always bitch about something…right..
