A police officer who was filmed pushing a man to the ground during the G20 protests will not face charges over his death.

Ian Tomlinson, 47, died after being caught up in the clashes on 1 April 2009 in the City of London. Continue Reading….

After this incident happened a colleague of mine was convinced that the police officer responsible for Ian Tomlinson’s death would NEVER get away with it, because the video evidence was there for us all to see.

I thought you naive fool. Then told her that the police officer would get away with it. The force would close ranks like they always do and make no mistake, there would be a cover up.

The Tomlinson family will NEVER see justice done.

She refused to believe that this would happen.

Fast forward to today’s verdict….. My colleague was stunned into silence.

Rest In Peace Ian Tomlinson.

  1. Police in the States are also getting away with all sorts of skull duggery including shooting people in the back of the head when they are handcuffed and not facing serious charges, some none at all. The police need to be very careful in abusing the public, there is only so much the public will take before they decide to open up a full can on the boys in blue. This verdict was extremely predictable, only somebody with an illusionary worldview could see the officer being charged with what he’d done.

This is a monstrous decision. How can anyone, ever again have any faith in our system of justice? There can be no question but that Keir Starmer must go. He has failed miserably to see beyond the minutiae and detail to the bigger and more important picture. He has failed all of us, each and every individual citizen of this country. Whatever it takes, be it a special Act of Parliament, he must be removed from office and PC Simon Harwood, thug, brute and murderer of Ian Tomlinson must be brought to justice.

  3. No surprise here at all
This is why the public cant stand the police
Probably the main reason as to why certain members of the public supported that maniac Roaul Moat.
Not because of the awful thing that he did, but because the police have a disgusting history of getting away all manner of crime, and not being held accountable. When they are seen to be “losing”, there are large members of the public that are very happy about it
This type of injustice stirs up all kinds of ill feeling towards the MET as a whole. Once again they have proved to the public, that the law works only when it suits them

  4. I should also add to this that this has now given the police the green light to beat people up and even murder people with impunity, thus the police have now become a threat to the public and should be treated as an enemy.

We have gotten to this stage because people are always looking out for a hero from without instead of standing up themselves and being the change that they want to see in this world. Things will worsen, police will handcuff you, take you into the forest and shoot you in the back of the head, however most will continue playing with their electronics, watching fluff on TV and raving it up until it lands on their doorstep, such is the mind and behaviour of man.
